Chainsaw Carb Question

I have a chainsaw with a Walbro WA carb. The saw will start and rev up then die. I purchased a kit and replaced the diaphragm at both ends of the carb, along with the needle valve. Can this problem be with the impulse hose to the carb? Give me some ideas to look at, thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, it could be the impulse hose. Also, check the fuel line, fuel filter, hi and lo carb adjustments. Did you set the rocker arm on the needle correctly? More than likely it is fueling problem, but it could be sucking air somewhere.
