Wright Sentar

Hey Guys (and gals!). Anybody have an opinion on the Wright Sentar zero-turn mowers? Was up at my local mower shop the other day to look at some new mowers, and the salesman couldn't say enough good things about the Wright line of products. Very compact machines, easily adjustable cutting deck, nice Kawasaki motors. It has an interesting seat design that I'm not sure I like. The seat kinda hangs off the back of the machine, and is shaped like a big bicycle seat. On most other zero-turns I've seen, the seat is on top just in front of the rear wheels. Good displacement of weight. But I'm wondering if the Wright, with 150+ lbs of weight hanging off the back, would upset that good balance. Any and all opinions are welcome. HLS

I got a sentar. Neat machine. I like it. But mine is for sale. It has a 61" deck and doesn't match anything else in the fleet other wise I would keep it.

I have 3 Sentars. The newer seat is more comfy than the original. One has 1400 hours on it and it is next in line to be upgraded. We put a new 23hp Kawasaki engine on last year....
Very powerful. Very fast. They had a clutch falling off problem at first but I think most problems have beed resolved.
Like the post above me I have one for sale...a 52".
$3300 firm.

Reason to sell my Sentar.........
We upgrade every 2-3 years. I have 2 others that are not for sale.
They are newer.
SO I hope that answers the question why brag up the mower and then sell it.

asking $7000 but cash really talks. Only has 20 hours on it, 25hp kohler, owner operated(employees don't get to play with the new stuff)

Reason for selling replaced it with another 52" stander, since the 61" deck caused it not to match the rest of the fleet. If it was a 52" I would be keeping it. I like it.

just bought a sentar, used for 6700, and two new wright standers, so far they work great, im intrested though in what the difference is with them and John Deere , both use kawasaki motors.....is there more advantages to one or the other, thanks
