Looks wierd but still works the same as a bluebird. Drop spreader in front and then it slices it into the ground. That hopper probably holds alot more seed than most though. No never used it though.

Thats a power rake with a built in spreader. The Home depot near me rents them,I saw that thing yesterday

That slit seeder is a better model than the one that my home depot rents.... That seems to have a drive system. The one I rented at home depot uses the blades momentum to pull it forward.. It sucked, had to man handle it.... It did the job but wasnt much fun..... This machine looks like it would be ideal to use...... The drive system looks great for hills as the specs mentioned...

This is the one that my home depot rents...... no drive system.....
I would have loved to use the one referenced above...
