We're in Fort Worth TX, a yard of mulch around here is like $30+ dollars if I come get it. Whereas I can pick up 14 bags for $28 at home depot. With the Mexican compitition our labor rates have to be incredibly tight. Also if the customer is a current annual maintenance contract I give them an extra break (means less weeds for me to pull, & they never ask for a reduction in weed pulling cost on the contract).
So about $3 a bag (2 cubic ft) for a maintenance customer or $4 a bag ($56 a yard).
