kbacon has the same problem as me - not fully booked. I've only turned down two high one-time cuts:

One guy said don't mow down my sago palm and it was half as high as the grass. Didn't give him a chance to tell me about his other plantings.

One elderly lady said she had the wildflowers marked with bricks and you couldn't see the bricks through the grass.

I have tangled my old Toro Proline 44 and an old Murray 36" up in extension cords, hoses, fishing line, old barbed wire, and old electric fence wire. Really have to wonder who dreamed up green extension cords.

I usually charge double minus 5-10 bucks, let them know about weekly service.

How bad are these lawns? Maybe you can handle it this way, charge a higher clean up fee and point out that regular maintence is the way to go, otherwise leave those for the scrubs to go out of business on.
