Just lost one, just got one back

Customer just called and is buying his own lawn equipment tomorrow to do his own lawn. Nice $38 lawn, pleasant guy, hate to lose it. Three minutes later a customer from last season called who was also pleasant. He went for cheaper this year but has had enough. Small lawn, $36. Didn't ask him what he was paying the other LCO, just thanked him for calling, and gave him last season's price. Wish I had both lawns, but will gladly take this break. It's not a wash, but I'm calling it a quick replacement. This is my second season and slowly it is getter better.

I've been having the "Even Steven" experience this season myself. Had a lot of customers move since last season, so it took a while to get back to where I left off.

Just got a new one today...so I'm sure another one will decide to let their kid mow it from now on...
