Tip Of The Day 8/18/05
A member suggested we add a new section or portion of the site called the "tip of the day" so we will give it a shot and see if it is something people enjoy and look to. Here is the first piece of helpful information...
Grass plants are 75%-80% water. The actual grass clippings are 90% water. Grass clippings are 4% nitrogen, 2% potassium, and 0.5% phosphorus. Also, 90% of the weight of grass is in the roots. A single grass plant has almost 400 miles of root. A 50 by 50 foot lawn has enough oxygen for a family of 4, while absorbing carbon dioxide, hydrogen fluoride and perosyacetyle nitrate.
