Ok, for the last two years we have just used our lesco broadcast spreader that we walk and a ag-fab pull behind that went behind our mower. I now have a 4400 John Deere tractor with a 3 point. I have seen these spreaders that are cone shaped that hold about 750 lbs. Do I want one of these? We have 12 properties that are over 100K sq. ft. How well do they work. I would like your opinions. Hope I was clear enough. If not let me know and I'll try and help.

mega spread

The three point hitch spreaders work great on golf courses. If your large properties are wide open, the three point off pto will be fine. You cannot regulate the impeller speed aka 540rpm. They throw very wide and will waste product or make messes in parking lot areas if you try to trim. For wide open areas, you cant beat the production vs the cost of the spreader.
