I live in NC and the most popular brands in my area are Toro, Scag, Bobcat, and Exmark. Which stripes the best?
With or without a striping kit?
I had an old exmark WB that made nice stripes. Now my Honda WB leaves even better stripes. I've noticed that the boxy-style fabricated decks seem to stripe better than the stamped ones, at least on WB's. You can also attatch a mud flap style piece of rubber like a skirting on the back of your deck to 'drag' the grass as you mow, & that will help your stripes too.
Best advice would be to demo them all & decide; however I would choose reliability & quality of machine over subtle differences in stripe effects- that is secondary, & each can be enhanced in that dept.
----------
Smitty ô¿ô
