2 cycle compression

just from boredom i did a compression test on my eb7000 and read it at 152psi i know that's good but is it really good??

for a 2 cycle yes. most 4 cycle engines that ive seen are around there or a bit higher.

i'll teach you how to rebuild engines if youll teach me how to weld better. lol

Over the years I have ran compression checks on my equipment at times and it takes a minimum of 60 pounds for a 2 stroke to run.

Actually, 152 psi is EXCELLANT compression. some engines will not run with less than 90psi, and power is noticably less due to lower compression. I've seen bigger engines pushing around 300psi, and those are VERY high performance engines. the average machine with good compression will read anywhere from 130-160psi, which is good to perfect compression.
