Lighting help

I have a customer who wants some lighting to basically wash the front of the house Lightly.
The left side of the house is all porch and the right side of the steps is an inside corner that meets the side of the garadge. like an "L"
Anybody have an idea on what type and brand of light that will light this area up without blinding everyone on the porch or in the house?

Perhaps a photo of the home to get a better idea. I have great success with using Focus Lighting purchased from Aquarius http://www.aquariusirrigation.com/ They have many different fixtures and lamp beam spreads and wattages to achieve the look you desire. If you use quality transformers and fixtures your design will be long lasting and minimal maintenance.

For the porch area you might be able to try a small "Niche" Light that could be mounted near the porch roof or eve and shine down in front of the porch to highlight plant beds and smaller trees. Or maybe mount bullet uplights on the top of porch lighting up the second story and up. "spreader" type lights might work as well. These would cast a wider but not as high angle of light to light in front of porch but not shoot light to high into the porch.

up lighting

Our lighting division does this frequently. I suggest a small well light or even a spot light with a wide spread and a glare guard. We have such items in our product line made of aluminum, stainless steel, cast , polished brass. Cost per unit as low as $25. The effect is very dramatic at night. We have small transformers that can be used to power one or only a few lights. For lawnsite members we ship for free and offer special prices. Please take a look at our website or call us.
I hope I was helpfull and if you have any other questions free free to contact my staff.

The porch area is about 40 feet long and approx 2 feet above the ground level which is pretty full of plants and grasses.
We need something to light up the lattice area of the porch foundation.
and maybe shine up the porch 4x4 posts.
An uplight for under a 12ft dogwood.
Lights for the right side walls that meet in an inside "L" which is a small bay window on one side and a blank wall on the other. It's a kick out where the garage wall stands out farther than the house.
Then maybe 2 light to wash over the garage side wall.
