Tip Of The Day - 9/29/05 - While You Were Sleeping...
I remember back in high school my basketball coach used to tell us that it was important to work hard because there is always someone out there who wants to beat you, embarass you, out-do you and win...and while you are sleeping, they are training, practicing and doing whatever it takes to get one step up on you. I was reminded of this when this morning I was reading something and came across a quote from the famous poet Henry Longfellow...
"Those heights by great men won and kept Were not achieved by sudden flight. But they while their companions slept Were toiling upward in the night." Most of the things that make one successful and allows them to achieve great things are the efforts and sacrifices that are made when others are not looking.
