Echo bp running ruff

I have a echo pb403 new and since I've had the blower it runs kind of ruff. I used annother a while back from a lco I worked for and it ran better. Could it be a carb probelm or needs to be adjusted. The dealer said to bring it in but I'm in a katrina problem so I can't get around to much.

I don't think they have much to adjust on the carb. Just the idle speed (throttle plate opening at idle). Could be a clogged air cleaner, a problem with carb like torn diaphragm or partially clogged jet. I wonder if a clogged exhaust port could make it run rough. It isn't stale gasoline, is it?

Could be an ignition problem. Spark plug is worn? Fouled? Ignition module is loosening up and falling off? Spark plug is not tightened fully? Carb isn't tightend fully. Fuel filter clogged?

Well it's barely been broken in. Then the storm happened but it was before that the engine was ruff. The carb looks fine and the spark plug is brand new. It's probably one of those things you get used to.

probably you've got a nonadjustable carb, which can be replaced with a fully adjustable model from the dealer, though a few dollars, might help you some here.
