I am going to be taking the core and lawn and turf tests needed to obtain my pesticide lisence in about two weeks. I have been studying my ass off but I really dont feel like im ready. I can answer all the chapter review questions in my book correctly but most of them are just true or false. Can anyone please tell me what the most important things I should know are for this test? If someone could let me in on some of the questions I will see on the test, that would be great too! I live outside of Pittsburgh PA, so i will be taking the PA test. The only thing I do know is that the test is 50 multiple choice questions. Even if noone else lives in PA if you can give me some good tips I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thank You

If you study and know the material then you won't have any problem passing the test. Remember to bring a calculator, some of the questions are on sprayer calibration.
Good Luck,

In AR the part of the test that thew me was calibration as well. Know how to figure spray amounts as if you were using a tractor to spray 40 acres. Know what band width and speed do with rates, and know some formulas going in . It took me two tries, and I had to get some practice problems from our Agri. dept at the university. Dave g

Sounds like you are well prepared.

But, if you want some practice questions, go to

I found this to be very helpful.
