Tip Of The Day - 12/19/05 - Singing

We only did this one year but it was a big hit in the community...

Myself, my girlfriend at the time, 5 or 6 people who worked for me and their significant others went around for 3 nights for a few hours and sang Christmas Carols to raise money for Children's Hospital. Wasn't the most harmonious group but it was the gesture that counted... got some recognition for what we did and actually picked up a grocery store snow removal accunt in the process. Not 100% sure, but I think we raised almost $1,000 for Children's Hospital too.

High 5's to that. I'd be afraid of doing more harm than good if I started singing though.

Sean, if you they heard me sing the organization would be in a whole heap of trouble!. I sing so bad my daughter asked me recentely after I got out of the shower was that supposed to be singing that she was hearing coming from the bathroom. Without cracking a smile, "daddy, you really sound real bad, making my head hurt". Been insulted many more times than I care to remember about how horrible I sound. Was actually asked in church one time to lead a song and my wife asked me "are you sure you really want to embarrass yourself like that". That is BAD! Everbody is a critic!
