might be kinda late now....but get a stack of flyers into the hands of every guy selling trees, get them to hand out these flyers when they sell the tree

Guess it depends on where you live. City picks 'em up for free here with regular trash service.

I am surprised that no one has used those trees for energy. We rigged up a wood chipper that runs on chipped trees! Took it to an apartment complex that we maintained and had a big pile of trees to dispose of. The first batch was chipped using propane, then each succeeding pile was fueled by the leftover chips. Even after all was done there was about 2 cubic yards of chips left. They made a really great mulch around the entrance walkway from our parking lot. If anyone's in the south florida area and needs a good laugh I can make the same setup again if you want.

Ditto. Fresh wood chips can cause all kinds of problems with existing plants. It would be a perfect breeding ground for plant disease due to the mold and bacteria.

THey use up alot of the nutrients available to the plants too. and they look like s hit
