Can an exmark deck go on a dixie

My dixie is a well build machine but the deck i have on it does not leave such a good cut. My exmark walkbehind 60" leaves a much more impresiive cut. I have seen some dixies cut better. The deck on mine has a bevel on the end and i was wondering if that is the reason for the poor cut and if there is a better deck for the dixie.
