I'm wondering what other people do to keep ggod guys on through the winter. It's hard to replace good guys who have moved on with ones like them. We plow snow and do some demolition work in the winter, but it gets tight. If you keep guys year round what's the criteria? Do you pay salary? Do you try to aim for 2000 hours per year? do you compensate them for overtime. I have my own answers to these questions but I want to compare to see if anyone has good ideas.
