Street Cleaning
I have a residential builder/developer that has expressed an interest in have their streets swept/cleaned weekly. They believe that it will reduce the sediment that gathers in the storm drains.
Has anyone had experience with this equipment. Pricing? Maintainance on this equipment? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I dont have any experience but if you have a skid steer you can get a broom for the front most manufactures of skid steers offer them as attachments.

CAUTION! Equipment can be pricey! Equipment maintenance is extreme. Check your liability in the erosion control arena. Price accordingly.

I bet you could make money with it. You could probably sell your services to strip malls in addition to this contractor and make a little more with it. However, my understanding is the equipment is pricey and it's maintanence intensive. Also, don't forget to check what your charges for dumping would be.
