question about blades

I've got a question about blades that I hope someone can answer. I have a Husqvarna iz5223 ztr and blades are not listed by a lot of online suppliers. The Oregon website show blades for most manufacturers and also dimensions of blades. My question is if length,hole diameter,width and thickness are the same will blades work. I also noticed that their part number for high lifts that I use fits only a few makes but the gator gator magnum for my mower also fits Toro,Exmark, and many others not listed for the high lifts. Thus why wouldn't blades for these others with same dimensions work? Thanks,Bob
