Lavender question

Is now a good time to trim lavender? If so, how far do you trim them back? Thanks for any input

Lavendar is a perennial and now is a good time to cut back perennials. If the stems were insulated from cold temps last winter they might put out new growth but its not worth the gamble when working on a custmer's lavendar. Cut it back 6-8" from ground. By mid June they should be back to full size.
