A little LawnSite update on the new Hustler Z. First of all, this has been the most successful new product ever at Hustler in nearly 40 years of making zero turn commercial mowing equipment! We are having trouble keeping up with the demand. The new 52" Z will be available in early May (same 23 hp Kawasaki engine, same pumps, motors, etc. The only difference is the smaller deck and overall length is now 74". The 9-bushel BAC-VAC™ catcher is available now. Fits all Z models and decks.

Coming soon, the Super Z™! Watch this space.

One of our partners went to the Hustler repair school up in Kansas. He had the opportunity to ride the new z and had a great time. he mentioned riding a slope too steep to walk on! keep me informed about the super z.

We just sent preliminary specs, pricing and availability to our dealers on the new Super Z™. We will be announcing it here this week. (We don't like to put out information ahead of informing our dealers).

The slope you mention is the famous "Hustler Hill", the highest point in Hesston, KS. It is a big triangle that we built specifically to test slope performance. One side of the hill measures 20 degrees, another is 25, and the steepest side is 30 degrees. (As a reference most highway interchanges are built at 26.6 degrees).
