I was thinking about price per milimeter thick per foot, say, .02 per milimeter so 1 " thick would be about $.50 per foot.

I charge $20 for an hour with a minimum of 1 hour. I need to raise my rates I'm sure, but first year working for myself.

Nice price on the brochures. I could use a deal like that, especially on distribution. That guy really undercharged.

Ya, I just looked through a coupon book looking for deals on pine straw. No luck, I'm going to have to buy 80 bales instead of 100 bales and spread thin to meet budget. I saw a few contractors/painters and one landscape company that I pass their lot every day. Seems to be effective. The landscape company runs about 5 crews and probably buys their own pinestraw and such in bulk direct. I'm looking into it myself rather than distribute brochures myself, saving me from the door-to-door, which I'll probably need to motivate myself to do eventually anyway.
