My Humble Beginning

Abimbola (AB) 37 year old nigerian immigrant. have been gardening for 17years and been in the US with my family for 5 years. began lawn care as a hobby with used tools from a closing business stuffed in the trunk of my 3 series 1990 BMW. Seriously thought of making it a full time gig in 2004 and gradually replaced all my old tools. Now I have

1 Honda ZX 6 series mower
1 Toro 6.5 self propelled mower
02' F-150
2 Toro string trimmers
1 back pack Blower
1 Electric black and Decker Blower
1 Electric black and Decker Hedge Trimmer
Many hand tools
Irrigation Design and Installer License (just for the mental exercise)
15 customers first year, 40 2nd year, 85 - 90 this year.
Competition is stiff in texas so I need advice from experienced pros.

Many Thanks

Your replies have changed my perception of on-line forums. I joined one in 2001, where I was labeled an idiot for asking a 'stupid' question. You can guess, I never went there again.
Thanks.

Ya,
I'm just starting out too. You should get a little 36 walkbehind. I saw the collest setup a guy had without any trailer. It was some kind of tailgate ramp thing. I think it would be perfect for you. then again I dont know anything about lawns in texas. lol
