Work my buns off spring, summer & fall and save all I can for the winter months. Do a little snow removal (but you can't count on it to snow), some interior painting now & then.

Snowplowing does the trick here in Minnesota, but in Alabama...it may not be very lucrative. As matter of fact...it wasn't very lucrative here last year either.

How about Christmas decorating? That could keep you busy November through January. Then take a month off or get things ready to rock and roll for March.
