What type of system is everyone using to control their trimmers, blowers, tools and mowers while they are on the trailer. So that they are not lost on the move or by way of the five finger discount.

I REBUILT A TRAILER FOR A FRIEND WHO DOES LAWN CARE. ITS A 5X9 FLAT BED WITH LANDSCAPE GATE. I PUT ON 4 FOOT SIDES AND A SHELVING UNIT ON THE FRONT LIKE A STOCK CAR TRAILER , FOR GAS CANS AND BLOWER STORAGE. THAT SHELVING UNIT IS MADE FROM 3/4 PLYWOOD AND THE WHOLE FRONT FLIPS DOWN AND REST ON TWO 2X4 LIPS SO HE HAS A 2FOOT BY 5 FOOT WORK BENCH FOR FIX WHAT NEEDS FIXING ITS LOCKABLE SO THE HAND HELD BLOWERS WONT GET STOLEN. FOR THE TRIMMERS I MADE A HOLDING SYSTEM WITH 2X4S IN A U SHAPED PATTERN WITH A HITCH PINS TO HOLD THE SHAFTS OF THE TRIMMERS. AS FAR AS THE RAKES,SHOVELS ETC. 2INCH PVC PIPE SCREWED AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE ON THE SIDES OF THE TRAILER WORKS GREAT. I KNOW SOUND LIKE A REDNECK SPECIAL BUT IT LOOKS NICE AND WILL WORK GREAT . WITH FOUR FOOT SIDES SPRING CLEAN UPS WILL BE EASY THIS WAS ALL ADDED FOR 150.00 AND ABOUT A DAYS LABOR ON A RAINY DAY.

This winter, we just set up a old 6 x 12 trailer that we had and wasn't getting used. I was going to order a whole set up from jungle jim's, stuff looked nice and well organized.<br>However, we have a mechanic who can weld so we fabricated our own. we built a shelfing unit up front out of 1&quot; steel square tubing, complete with 3/8 steel diamond plate shelfing and expanded metal sides. We also built trimmer holders on the front out of the 1&quot;. Next, we built shovel racks on each side and used 2&quot; inch metal pipe cut in 8&quot; sections for that. Finally, it needed a gate, so we used more 1&quot; and a sheet of expanded. Took us like a week to set up. Mechanic did a great job welding though, and gave us something to do in between snow storms. Just painted her last week myself with a compressor and airgun, real sharp looking.<p>Built like a tank, but with the summer help we get, I'm sure they'll manage to beat her up.
