Catcher Sizes
Hi, it was my impression that you didn't recommend using the larger catcher size (6.2 cubic ft) on a 36" deck. Is this this case?
I'm wondering about the new Toro Turbo-force 36" and 40" decks. Do you have any recommendation about using the larger catcher on the 40" deck? |

It depends a bit on what you are using it for. The recommendation is due to the possiblility that the deck will tilt with the higher weight, giving an uneven cut. If you are mowing dryer grass or leaves, it would fine to use the XL on a 40 inch toro. The Toro Turboforce deck is a pretty heavy deck, so this would also help. If you are using the catcher yourself, you can watch what is going on with any deck tilt and just empty the catcher before it is totally full if the grass you are mowing is really heavy. Sometimes if you are having employees mow, they may or may not watch for this.
