Yellow St Augustine Grass

Alot Of My Customers Have Yellow Spots In Their Grass, Is This Due To The Drought In Florida? Or Is It Where The Lawn Needs More Iron? Just Looking For Suggestions To Boost Their Lawn To Get Green Without Laying New Sod, Thanks For The Help....

Hopefully the yellowing is caused by iron deficiency. It can be caused by chinch bugs or st augustine decline caused by a virus.

MAny things could be causing this yellowing.... IE- chinch bugs, chlorosis, Iron deficiency, GRUBS, ummm alot of lawns with reclaimed water for irrigation are more prone to this because of the ammount of chlorine in the treated water.

I would start with a chealated iron and the prvious guy stated.

But it could be any of those...
