Usually when I mulch a bed I always include edging in the price, however a commercial client of mine just wants me to edge the beds. Is there usually a flat rate that would be used for charging for this and if so what would it be. I measured how much edging and it is roughly 13,000 feet. Can anyone help?
Thanks
----------
David
Northeast Ohio

That's like 2 1/2 miles of edging. I hope you mean 1300

Sorry, not 13,000 feet-it is 1,300 feet.

I would be using a walk behind bed edger. It cuts the edge and breaks up the clumps.

You mean like a Brown trencher/bed edger?
That's what we have.
I probably like to see $300 for something like that, take about 4 hours, 1 guy by the time it's all finished?
