Are you refering to the one with the height adjustment cast into the side of the deck? I had to buy a new mower almost every year. Always stripping out. I had to bungie it to keep the height adjusters from slamming down when in use. That did a nice scalping job.. LOL

sadly the great jd jx85 is no longer made. and as for the toro pro line-i dont like the gear ratios. 1st -too slow -2nd too fast-3rd way too fast. the main reason i like the jds so much -5 speeds -one is just right for me(3rd gear)

I really like the Toro Super Recycler. It is not rated for commercial use but it has a cast aluminum deck and for the price really kicks ass!

i think you should throw cub cadet on there, i have a cub cadet 21" with caster's on the front, and it runs and cuts like a champ, i wouldn't trade it for any other 21" right now.

After using both Toro and Honda commercials.. they are both great.

To choose only one, it's Honda for me.

What about snapper? Really, they make a good PM don't they? I haven't owned one so I couldn't say weather or not I liked one more that the other.
My dealer said he could get me a commercial w/ 6hp kawi for about $850
