If I remember right awhile back there was some discussion on building a operator controlled discharge chute like the dixie's for a Lazer Z. I think Lazer mentioned he uses a homebuilt one on his machines.
I was wondering how well this setup works. And if anybody that has built one has any tips on construction. Doesn't look too hard to build. And I like the concept of it.

Jason, you could always adapt a DC OCDC to fit yours. It might just bolt right on. They make 3 different sizes to fit the Choppers. This isn't an aftermarket thing DC buys, they make their own and the cost about $180.
----------
Eric@ELM
Eric,
Might have to look into that. I finally found a DC dealer here in my area. Didn't think there was one. No dealer turns up for here in a search.
Think I'll go take pictures of the chute and build my own, $180 sounds kinda steep.
By the way how do you like the chute?

I've gotta check into that. Mine is a manual setup I had built that isn't as quick as it needs to be.
I'm going to check that out for our new mowers.

Jason, once you use one, they become a thing to have. It works nice.
----------
Eric@ELM
