FINN CORP Wins United States Marine Corps Contract for HydroSeeders

FINN CORP Wins United States
Marine Corps Contract for HydroSeeders®
CINCINNATI, OH (February 7, 2007)-- Cincinnati-based FINN CORP has won a contract to be the sole manufacturer supplying the Marine Corps System Command with both skid and trailer mounted HydroSeeders® due to their design for performance in extreme working environments. The contract has been approved for up to 80 HydroSeeders per year for the length of the
contract, with 16 machines delivered in 2005 and 39 delivered in 2006.

FINN CORP has been in the business of manufacturing HydroSeeders to prevent, control and improve environmental conditions, such as those required by the Marine Corps, for over 50 years. FINN has manufactured the ideal equipment for their requirements, and exceeds the
technical specifications, characteristics and performance requirements noted by the Marine Corps. FINN has a longstanding history of high performance providing state departments and government agencies with equipment, including similar contracts for controlling dust on helicopter landing area dating back to 1967.

FINN is supplying the Marine Corps with two different HydroSeeder models. One is a 900 gallon trailer mounted HydroSeeder that is easily maneuvered in soft, sandy conditions, as well as capable of high speed highway and off-road travel. The other model is a 1200 gallon skid
mounted HydroSeeder that is compatible with the Marine Corps Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement and other military vehicles. Both of the machines are powered by Kubota diesel engines, and include reversible, variable speed mechanical paddle agitation, valve control and liquid recirculation system; FINN specially designed centrifugal pump; and a direct drive with over-center clutch that is independent of the agitator operation. FINN has equipped the HydroSeeders with three options for distribution of dust palliative agents including a tower gun, spray hose, and distribution bar. With a number of additional performance enhancing features, the HydroSeeders are capable of operating reliably in a variety of working locations and conditions.

FINN is extremely proud of the opportunity to support both the United States Marines Corps and their efforts.
