toro front mowers

I am looking at used golf course equipment for residential use. I would like any comments on the Toro line, with blades, not reels, 300 series or similar, if anyone has any experience in using or repairing these mowers please tell me good and bad things about them.

These units are good units as long as they are well maintained and not used on rough areas. Some things to look at are the frame(rear area and mid area for cracks) and PTO shaft bearings and bushings. Is it a recycling deck or side discharge? Also if it is a gasoline engine, Toro has let me know they are having trouble getting parts for the engine, however there are other suppliers for engine parts(Contienal Engine). PTO belt is a pain to change and do regular inspections on the rubber joints in the drive line.
