Hi guys,
I had been cutting a new apartment complex this spring. Went by just as they were starting to rent the first apartments. The property mgr called and said for me to give him a price to cut weekly and add on as they opened up each new building. No contract for now till all landscaping and more buildings in place. Ok.
I did a nice job, there every week same day. No complaints. Well the girl managing the property on site had a friend, a cop of all things.
I got the call to submit a bid for the contract. 5 buildings in all plus two large drainage pools that would have to be string trimmed.
I bid $750.00month. In line and what he had been paying. Was told the cop severely underbid me. So you know who is cutting it now.
Have been back by twice he is not cutting every week, has yet to weedeat the pools( drain basins) or edge. How the *&%% can these guys keep contracts like this. This is the third one this year I lost to this &&*ho*e. His work looks like s*&t. He cost me 4,750.00 month on these three contracts. Someone please tell me what to do about these cops. I have been told they promise extra ridebys at night and the like but I cant prove it.
Plus they are sleeping with the site mgrs. Guess I need to hire me a stud to handle that part of the business.lol

Maybe you should set up an appointment with one of owners and have pictures of your work with you. Take pictures of what the apartments look like now and let him/her compare. Just a thought.
