Bees
These showed up today at one of our biuldings. This is the second time in 15 years it has happened, but it is always fun to see.

It was probably about 4 foot long. My guys just told me some bee keepers came and got them.

Those are honey bees and it is now that they swarm. I used to get calls every spring from the local police to come pick them up.

We've received several work orders this spring (as usual) for removal of bees from various school sites. One of our groundsmen at a middle school site is a beekeeper and handles their removal for free just for the bees.

Oh man you just brought back SO many memories. I was always the crazy one with a stick. I wouldn't have been dumb enough to mess with those ones though. Well maybe for $100 and a long stick. Ok, ok, can I just throw on rock at them?

That swarm is huge 3 banded Italian bees,total value $400 bucks.
