Partially true.

Most of the better weed killers have up to 3 herbicides.

2, 4 - D
MCPP
Dicamba

At least that's in the last batch I bought.

Some weeds are resistant to one herbicide, and other weeds resistant to another.

One herbicide rarely kills most lawn weeds, if its to be selective without killing the grass.

So its important to look for the herbicide bottles that have about 3 active ingredients. Regardless of the brand name, like you mentioned, of course.

And its likely that 2, 4 - D will be one of the three in the container.
