That's what I'm stooping to here at this time. And the materials are included at cost. Moron's, cheats and over zealous distributors have ruined installation work.

I'm not sure I understand the question...do you mean after determining that a sprinkler system is going to take three guys 8 hours to install (24 man hours) that you will bid $960 (24x$40) to install that system? or is that just the ammount you will charge for everything but the parts which are added to the above ammount to generate the bid?

yes,
I would obviously mark up the parts for a nice profit but I didnt know or have any idea if that was way to cheap or what because i have nothing to compare it too. |

Don't worry about comparing prices as you don't know if who your comparing to is providing knowledgable information. You must do your own job costing.
I wish I could get $40.00/hr plus a markup on material. Not here anymore.

Charge about 100-125 per rotor and 30-50 per spray. you need to cost figure your overhead. Not all jobs go exactly as planned , you need to make sure you can cover cost while you wait to get paid unless you are doing in the fly residentials. If you are doing commercial work stay around my suggested price range..or you might get in trouble. 40 dollars per head?
