lost threads, this could happen to you! Back up your system

As most of you can see, it's easy to loose info. Remember to back up all your important documents. As what happen to this site's server's hd. could happen to you.

If you do a backup, only do your data files. Forget your install's of app. It's easier and in my humble oppion to just do a clean install.

The forms of backup I do:
every session of my bookkeeping- backup to zip drive or 2nd hard drive.
1 time a week, burn a cd-rw of all my data files on my c: drive
1 time a month, burn a cd-r of all my data files of all my hard drives.

Just some thoughts to ponder, as I know a few people that don't do backups of their data files. Loose it once or twice as it happened to me, learn your lesson well.

John

"Backing up" is on my "to do" list.

Unfortunately, it has been there for a long time!

Thanks for the reminder and the tips!
