How do you like that compactor? It looks like the one northern tool sells. A friend was talking about getting one but is having a hard time commiting to an off brand.

The compactor is great for large lifts but not practical for compacting pavers or tight areas.

It does have reverse which is a huge bonus, but like I said, using it to compact the pavers your sure to break a few. Not to mention its a beast at over 300#. Our main focus for getting it was the force, and larger lift capacities.

Someone broke into our storage lot this spring and stole most of our equipment, so we had a lot of up front costs we had to front this season. To do so, we wanted to maximize our money even if it meant going off brand. Seems to be worth it here, if you need something this big of course.

You do nice work. One word on advice. Get your employees to where safety glasses, ear protection, respirators and gloves. Safety goes a long way. Your insurance company carrier will appove.
