year around mowing line

I am guessing that southern Florida mowing is a year around mowing business. If that is true then where is the line that starts to divide year around mowing from areas that cannot support mowing in the winter? Is it middle Georgia, south Georgia, Tampa to Orlando, etc.

somewhere from ocala to way north florida. Here in the tampa/st pete area we mow year round. Every week april-oct, and every other nov-march.

In orlando from Nov-feb, march it was an every other to almost 21 day cut schedule...

When I was in G-ville, we had below freezing temps on a few occasions and that generally stopped the grass in its tracks....
