Lime on trees

Will lime hurt pine or colorado spruce trees?

Lime is used to adjust the PH level of soils too acidic - you need to find out what PH is needed and what you have; lime could be the opposite of what you need - suggest contacting your extension service. I was able to find a couple of references from extension services - they said pines need acidic soil, somewhere around 5.5 to 6.5 PH
