run miss pop!!!

14 hp ohv eng briggs started to mis then was running and lost power back fired , now is dead. changed plug , checked carb. when cranking eng. fuel and aip pressure comes out the carb, broken valve . my manuals for this was borrowed and never returned .. HELP the grass is growin

Just a shot in the dark..Doses it have valve covers on it to access the valve?
If so Turn motor by hand and watch for movement.
Can You see inside the plug hole and rotate the motor by hand to see if the vale move?

Engine numbers are always useful-

What did the old spark plug look like? IF it was all crudded up, I would tend to think that possibly the head gasket may be blown.

black no crud, while cranking it is blowing fuel into the tube onder the air filter, very flooded also.
