how much weight can the 3 point on a 318 jd lift

i've been unable to find out how much weight the hydrolics on a 318 can handle.


i want to buy a 3 point and an aerator but i need to know what it can lift so i can get the correct aerator for the job.

anyone know how much it can lift??

I checked my service manual and found nothing on this....


I did a quick search and found the below link, After gandering around a little this may be the guy to call for any info you need on you unit.

That is the same link that I found. I was curious and tried to find out the information for him and had no luck. That guy looks like he would know if anyone.

annddddddd--most people dont care about this--as they use the implements that were made for them--but when you try to do crazy things_______!!!!!!!!!

Here is a link to a JD forum that contains info on the later models of the green machines. I would have searched it for you, but the search function on the site wasn't working. You should be able to search for 318 and find out what it will lift.
