Hi John,

It looks like all the newer ferris 61 inch decks have the same opening size. It should be around 16 inches at the bottom of the opening. This will take a GCSCVXL catcher. As long as the opening on the 48 is around the same size, the catcher should also fit it with our standard bracket. If you want to be absolutely sure, give me the width of the opening.
