Im considering expanding into stump grinding to help fill in the lulls. Pros and cons from anyone out there on equipment, getting started, etc? Whats the going rate in your area?<p>Bill

We have a Rayco RG50 50 hp self-propelled stump grinder that loads on it's own customized trailer. It can go across lawns, thru gates and grinds stumps anywhere. It's really a sweet machine, but it was $32,000 complete.<p>We charge $50.00 service call and then 1.80 -2.00 per caliper inch.<br>
