There should be a function added to everyone's User CP that allows turning off the ads and other flashy BS.

If you use Norton (symantec) "internet security" there IS a button to click that does exactly that. Worked all over the net. It was great! Almost worth the price of dealing with Nortons BS all the time. I don't have it anymore though, subscription expired and it was going to cost like $80 to renew. F that. Buddy recommended AVG free edition. Just donsn't have the ad blocker that Norton did!

Ah screw that, too much work, going into places on my PC where no uneducated man should ever look, just like going through the wife's purse.
