Valve Jobs
Just wondering if any of you have needed valve jobs on your mowers. I recently took in a kawi 12.5 that was difficult to start at best, and got it back, starting on the first or second pull with as much power as brand new. I paid 95 dollars for this service and was told that it is a quite common problem. This was after 2 other dealers tried to fix this mower with no sucess. I am very happy with this, and have 3 other walk-behinds that have been maintained properly yet still run a little rough. Is 95 dollars a good price for this. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, Chris Lamb Lamb Lawnscaping |

Looks like I need to raise my prices!! I usually charge $40
labor plus parts. And I even have the tools to do it correctly. After getting your valves reworked, keep an eye on your oil level. Fish |

If I remember correctly having the valves lapped is a regular Kawasaki maintenance item and should be done every so often.
