New Truck

Traded my 1998 Dodge diesel today for a 2002 Ford F250 Powerstroke. Never owned a Ford before & thought I never would but, with my son selling Ford I felt obligated. Never had any trouble with the Dodge & liked it but, couldn't take the pressure of my son coming over to show me a new truck any longer. It's that weekness that will keep me working 2 jobs forever. Just wondering what ya'll think of the Ford or should I have kept the Dodge?

Good move

Good move getting the powerstroke, its a beast... BUT woulda went with the F-350 over that 250. Theres a world of a difference between the 2.

You tell us...............your the new owner!

I got a 2000 Dodge Cummins and have wondered to myself how the Fords pull vs. the Dodge. I've never driven one much less pulled my trailer with one so let me know how it goes.

I really like the Dodge but then see some Fords sometime that just have that look!

Know what I mean?

congrats on ur purchase. each truck got there own specialties, i like the clearence of the dodges and the muscular look, but thefords look stronger as opposed to muscular, chevyies look sorta like a tank. thats what i think anyways

I have a 99 model F-350 Powerstroke and love it. I have never pulled with or even driven a Dodge, but I Love my Ford.

I've never owned a Dodge, but I currently have a Ford F-350 with the 7.3 Diesel. I swear that sucker could pull down a house if I had to!

Wonder how many miles to the gallon he gets?

Not really in the same category is it?

Will the "blown" 427 get 20 mpg and last 350,000 miles, I don't think so.

I bet it is a fun ride though..........I'd have to be driving, don't trust nobody elses driving.

Myself woulda stayed with the Dodge. I'd rather be Cummin(Dodge) than Stroken(Ford)....

(Hope this flies w/the mediators)
