In CA where I have done most of my Caterpillar spraying, using Conserve isn't a matter of being organic but in the dry climate beneficial insect populations don't recover well if you spray with broad spectrum materials in the spring. So by summer you can end up with major aphid problems and things like that along with unhappy customers to deal with.
