Toro does a pretty good job for the golf courses of the world. I see a lot more of there products when I'm relaxing on sundays with a driver in my hand than I do when I'm on a residential job. Maybe it's different in other parts of the country. Kudos on the Ed Hunter reference.

Certification
In most areas there is no certification required. Of course furthering your education and a line on your brochure that says your certified are all kudos. However, and I'm not sure there may be some certifications required in some cities and towns across the country but I'd bet they are few if any.
